Layer 1:
Development of a socio-ecological perspective on the Wadden Sea. Synthesis between the current scientific research on geomorphology and salt marshes and the embedding in the political landscape.
Layer 2:
Integration of actors in the knowledge transfer and the joint creation of knowledge, which in the individual projects are underrepresented, in particular of economic actors and the fivefold helix.
Layer 3:
Promotion of the socio-ecological systems thinking through:
- Co-production of trade-off scenarios
- Development of an SES framework
- Development of an SES online portal and an accompanying MOOC
- Co-visual workshops
